Renée’s
Approach
The purpose of any executive coaching engagement is to enhance the client's individual performance, personal fulfillment, and leadership effectiveness. Executive coaching is a one-on-one, confidential relationship between coach and client, and typically lasts from 4 to 12 months.
The coaching engagement begins with a review of the client's professional and personal objectives, and an assessment of skills, strengths, and areas for development. From this, a targeted development plan is created. The development plan may include readings and skill-building practices, observation and feedback, personal reflection assignments, and regular 1-on-1 coaching sessions to help the client stay on track. Each development plan is unique to the client.
Holistic
A robust executive coaching engagement addresses both the professional and personal aspects of a client’s life. Who is the client as a person and a leader? What are his strengths, weaknesses, motivations and blind spots? How does she handle stress, or conflict, or set-backs? What support systems does he have? What are her goals — not only for her career, but for her life?
Values Based
The most effective leaders source their personal power, commitment and passion from deeply held values and a sense of purpose. Through the coaching engagement, the client identifies and articulates their values, and works to bring their leadership impact into alignment with those values.
Action Oriented
In order to achieve lasting positive change, insights must lead to action. Renée supports her clients to take practical, consistent action, develop new habits, and stay accountable to their desired objectives.
